We are proud to announce that Liquid Web has doubled the bandwidth allocations for all current clients with standard Managed Dedicated Server, VPS, and Shared Hosting plans. Starting last week you should have noticed an increased allowance, it's just a small token of our appreciation for growing with Liquid Web. |
Liquid Web CEO Matthew Hill said "The success of our clients is our success as well, and we are committed to supporting them in every regard. This is merely the first in a series of enhancements which we will be offering to our users in the coming months."
Liquid Web has also doubled bandwidth allocations on all new product offerings including Shared, VPS, and Managed Dedicated Server products. Visit http://www.liquidweb.com for further information and pricing.

On February 9, 2007 Liquid Web completed a major protected dark fiber build reaching each of it's data centers. This build is coupled with the completion of an on-site high capacity state wide DWDM network which brings tens of gigabits of capacity to our Michigan based data centers. This highly advanced optical network allows Liquid Web greater flexibility of service providers thereby reducing costs for our customers.

With the completion of this dark fiber build, Liquid Web has brought additional capacity online from Tier1 provider AT&T as well as a full OC48 (2.48Gbps) with Tier1 provider Level3 Communications. This capacity expansion is live and has effectively extended the Liquid Web network by greater than 3 gigabits, bringing our total IP capacity to nearly 5 gigabits. |

For reliability and security, Liquid Web utilizes premium tier1 bandwidth from Savvis, AT&T, MCI and now Level3 Communications. Liquid Web is proud to add Level3's high-capacity, nationwide backbone which was overbuilt with new DWDM, IP and private-line switching layers in 2005. In the past year, Level3's long-haul capacity has grown 50 percent. And they are planning for their capacity to double every two years. This is only the first of a series of major upgrades and will allow Liquid Web to cater aggressively to high bandwidth clients and the ever expanding network requirements of server operations in general.

This month Liquid Web began deploying our VPS plans using Virtuozzo Version 3. The upgrade has been completed successfully and a performance increase has been reported by several customers. Liquid Web is always searching for the most reliable technologies for our clients, as such we are always investigating the newest virtualization technologies. If you would like to upgrade your VPS account to Virtuozzo 3 contact support@liquidweb.com. |
